Types of Bingo Games

Bingo is most popular game in today’s generation. It has got two different versions. First one is called seventy five ball bingo. This version is popular in United States. In this game a total seventy five numbers are announced in five columns, each are of fifteen numbers. The card of this game has twenty five squares. It consists of twenty five squares made up of five across and five down which forms a square shape. The card has also got random numbers from one to seventy five. Even there is a code printed on the card for verification purpose.

The second game of bingo is called as ninety ball version which usually played in the United Kingdom and Australia. Cards of this version of bingo are called tickets which consist of three rows and nine columns. These are actually a part of card which consists of six tickets. There are nine squares on each row and five of them have numbers one to ninety while the remaining are usually blanks.
In every game of ninety ball bingo there are three winning patterns. They are either a single, two or three horizontal lines. Once all the horizontal lines are completed a full house is formed. For each pattern there are separate prizes given at new bingo sites.

Major difference between both of the bingo game is that ninety ball there can be three winners. Apart from that one can decide to buy a single ticket or a full strip of ticket. Basic principles of both the game is same. Both of the versions have a ball with numbers printed and a ball dispenser from which balls will be randomly roll out. Whenever a number is announced a person who is playing the game has to cross out each number. Main purpose of both the bingo versions is to make people in a non-competitive social activity.
